Mr. Donald Lee Lauterberg, born Feb. 27, 1929. Died Jan. 4, 2014.
Don worked at Whitehall Leather Company for 46 years till retiring in 1994. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved hunting and playing cards. He as a life member of the American Legion Post 69, White Lake Eagles and was a member of the V.F.W.
Preceding him in death were: his parents, Ray and Anna Lauterberg; birth mother Lorriane (Brozzo) Carignan; brother David Lauterberg; and sister Lois (Lester) Arnold.
Surviving family are: sister Mary (Ken) Meyer of Montague; sons Ronald Lauterberg of Branch and Randy (Lynn) Lauterberg of Walla Walla, Washington; daughter Terri Lauterberg of Montague; grandchildren Jacklyn (Jeff) Nash, Thomas Lauterberg, Breanna Colson and Sarah Lauterberg; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 step-sons and 3 step-daughters; and many more grandchildren.
A memorial lunch will be held Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m., at White Lake Eagles, 1204 S. Lake St., Whitehall.
