Notice is hereby given that Default has occurred in a Mortgage given by Rellis W. Cormany II, a single man, mortgagor, to West Shore Bank, mortgagee. The Mortgage is dated February 2, 2006, and was recorded on February 9, 2006, at Liber 581, on page 692 of the Mason County records, and subject to a Modification of Mortgage recorded at Document No. 2018R02198 and further subject to an Extension recorded at Document No. 2011R00456. The balance owing on the Mortgage as of the date of this Notice is $13,688.34, including interest at 6.75% per year. The Mortgage contains a power of sale clause and no proceedings have been instituted to recover any part of the debt owing.
The Mortgage will be foreclosed by selling the property described below at a public auction to the highest bidder. The sale will be held on October 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. local time at the main entrance to the Mason County Court Facility, 304 E. Ludington, Ludington, Michigan, that being the place of holding Circuit Court for Mason County, Michigan. The property will be sold to pay the amount then due on the Mortgage, including interest, legal costs, attorney fees and any taxes or insurance which may be paid by the mortgagee before the sale.

If the property described in this notice is sold at a foreclosure sale, then under MCL 600.3278, the Mortgagor(s) will be held responsible to the buyer of the property at the foreclosure sale, or to the Mortgage holder, for damage done to the property during the redemption period.
The redemption period will expire six (6) months after the date of the foreclosure sale, unless the property is determined abandoned under MCL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period will expire 30 days after the date of the foreclosure sale, or when the time to provide notice under MCL 600.3241a(c) expires, whichever is later.
