The Ludington Area Center for the Arts presents the O.J. DeJonge Middle School Student Art Exhibit through May 30, noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

This exhibit, available for free, features a variety of original works of art by a number of O.J. DeJonge Middle School students, with art teacher Jennifer McWilliams as curator.

“The middle school work is a collection of a variety of different media that we study at O.J. DeJonge. Students are introduced to pastels, paints, drawing, watercolor, paper collage and several different ceramic hand building techniques," said McWilliams, middle school art director. "Students have also studied several different artists like, Georgia O'Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, and Eric Carl. They have also studied different art movements like Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism and Cubism. You will see many different art works that have been influenced by these artists and movements. This work will give you a small window into the incredible skills and talents of our middle school art students."
