Quinten Tyler Barnhart, 21, 1078 Ionia Ave SW Apt. 3, Grand Rapids, was sentenced to 21 days of jail with credit for 21 days, may serve up to 90 days of jail in the next year at the court’s discretion and pay $285 in fines and costs for pleading guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A charge of accosting a child for immoral purposes was dismissed with prejudice. In a separate case, Barnhart was sentenced to 21 days of jail with credit for 21 days, may serve up to 90 days of jail in the next year at the court’s discretion and may perform community service in lieu of paying $50 in fines and costs for pleading guilty to disturbing the peace. A charge of trespassing was dismissed with prejudice.

Kevin Roger Swift, 40, 604 S. Main St., Bellevue, was sentenced to two days of jail with credit for two days, may serve 93 days of jail in the next year at the court’s discretion, attend the victims impact panel, had his ORV operation privileges suspended for 90 days and must pay $870 in fines and costs for pleading guilty to operating an ORV while impaired. A charge of operating while intoxicated or under a controlled substance was dismissed with prejudice.

Joseph John Parrinello, 34, 51063 Battenwood Dr., Macomb, was sentenced to a day of jail with credit for a day, may serve 93 days at the court’s discretion for two years, must attend the victims impact panel, attend Alcoholics Anonymous twice a week for a year and pay $1,075 in fines and costs for pleading guilty to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor.

Arraignments

Duane Charles Broughton, 50, no address listed, Ludington, was arraigned on a felony count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and a felony count of habitual offender supplemental warrant second conviction following a May 16 arrest by the Ludington Police Department. Bond was set at $5,000, personal recognizance. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for May 27.

Stephen Robert-Moreland Churchill, 36, 109 Jefferson St., Manistee, was arraigned on two felony counts of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device without consent following a May 16 arrest by the Manistee Police Department. Bond was set at $2,500, personal recognizance. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for May 27.

Austin Bradley Pringle, 18, 105 E. Fifth St., Ludington, was arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication following a May 17 arrest by the Ludington Police Department. Bond was set at $2,500, personal recognizance. A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for June 15. He was also arraigned in a separate case on a misdemeanor charge of minor in possession — third or subsequent purchase/possession/consumption. A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for June 15.

Kody Michael Shriver, 28, 7065 N. Dennis Road, Ludington, was arraigned on a felony charge of aggravated stalking after being arrested on May 11 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $10,000, cash. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for June 3.
