The Manistee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a person who was in a vehicle that burned early Monday morning near Copemish in northeastern Manistee County.
The fire occurred about 2:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 on M-115 near Erwin in Cleon Township. The vehicle had one occupant, who is deceased, according to the Mannistee County Sheriff's Office.
The state fire marshal has been notified and the investigation is ongoing.
The sheriff's office stated it was not releasing any additional information at this time.
