'Drawing Conclusions' artists

The “Drawing Conclusions” exhibit opened Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts with an artists reception in the evening.

The exhibit showcases illustrative art styles including graphic novel, comic book, and cartoon art.

Featured artists include Gordon Anderson, Ingar Rudholm, Daniel Hogan, Dennis Preston, and more.

The exhibit is free and open to the public through March 26. The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is open Thursday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.

The exhibit features styles including graphic novel, comic book and cartoon art from area artists and some work of local students.

Superhero workshop Feb. 13

Ludington Writers will host a comic book workshop on Feb. 13. at the center for the arts. It will feature Jim McClain, math teacher and creator of The Solution Squad comics.

The 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. workshop costs $50 per person and the number of participants is limited.
