The classic car show will once again be part of the Scottville 10 & 31 Celebration, which started with two pageants on Tuesday and begins in earnest Saturday morning in downtown Scottville.

The 10 & 31 Celebration is returning to downtown Scottville on Saturday, and Interim City Manager Steve Brock said there will be “something for everybody” during the second year of the city’s summer street fair.

The event started in 2018 as a combination of the now-defunct Harvest Festival and the city’s annual Summerfest celebration. Activities from both festivals were merged into one under the direction of the various city leaders and members of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA).

This year’s festivities technically started Tuesday night with the Princess Pageant and Miss Mason County Scholarship Pageant at the Scottville Clown Band Shell, but the 10 & 31 Celebration will get underway in earnest bright and early Saturday morning with a series of recreational activities hosted by the Mason County Central Educational Foundation (MCCEF).
