The second Taste of the Lakeshore event was successful Tuesday night at the Graystone Event Center inside the Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
Vendors and attendees alike said they were happy with the turnout of people and the variety of food.
Intermittent rain didn’t stop people from coming to the event and the line was out the door before the 4 p.m. start time.
This year Taste of the Lakeshore was split into two different times, 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m., which helped with the influx of attendees and reduced overcrowding, according to organizers.
“Splitting it into two different seatings really helped with the traffic so that everyone had time to visit with each one of the vendors and go to the different food trucks,” event coordinator Shelley Kovar said.
