The third annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival gets underway at 7 p.m. today with performances at Rotary Park in Ludington this weekend and the weekend of Aug. 3-5.

The Stage Left Theatre Company is working on a pair of productions, both from William Shakespeare’s vast array of plays, sort of.

The main-stage play will be a traditional production of “As You Like It,” with the opener being an abridged adaptation of “Macbeth” called, “Macbeth & Sons Auto Sales, LLC.”
