Frances Lucille Tate
Frances Lucille Tate, 92, of Hart, went to be with her Lord Aug. 28, 2019. She was born Jan. 4, 1927 in Ludington, the daughter of Timothy and Jane (Shinsky) Barber.
Frances was an active member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, and a loving wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Harold Tate; children, Michael (Nancy) Tate, Marilynn (Bob) Heer and Patrick (Deb) Tate; grandchildren, Shane, Jamie, Hiedi, Theresa, Marianne and Rebekah; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah, Nikolas, Brady, Landry, Trayce, and Siena; step-grandchildren, Chris, Craig, Cameron and Jenni; sister, Martha Goff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Jane Barber; two sisters; and two brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 316 S. Peach St., Hart, with Father Daniel Schumaker presiding. Interment in Hart Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. Visitation was scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72nd Ave., Hart.
