Your health is important, and getting covered is a critical step in accessing the care you need. Did you know that enrollment for the Healthy Michigan Plan (HMP) remains open throughout the entire year? If you are a Michigan resident between the ages of 19 and 64, single, with an income of about $16,500, you may be eligible for coverage. Coverage is available for families as well — a family of four with an income up to $33,000 a year may be eligible.
The HMP covers many services, including preventive and wellness services, doctor visits, hospital care, prescription medications, dental and vision services and more. The HMP also offers incentives for people who adopt a healthier lifestyle. People with pre-existing conditions will not be denied coverage, and co-pays and premiums – if they apply– are very low.
