PENTWATER — The Pentwater high school golf team took home first place in the West Michigan D League Conference Meet on May 16 with a team score of 312, sweeping the top five in the first team all-conference positions in the process.
Elias Marjasalo finished with an overall score of 73, which netted him first place all-conference honors. He made par on 11 holes and had one birdie.
Drew Kolenda was second place all-conference with a score of 78, parring on 10 holes. Hunter Cornelisse was third-place all-conference with a 79 on nine pars and one birdie.
Alivia Kolenda shot an 82 on the day, but chipped in an eagle on hole #7. She was fourth place all-conference. Nathan Macher was fifth-place all-conference, also shooting an 82.
Other golfers that shot well for Pentwater include Tyler Douglas with an 84, Jack Roberts with a 95, and Bode Powell with a 95.
