MORLEY — A third-quarter barrage by Morley-Stanwood was the difference Friday, as Hesperia lost a Central State Activities Association Silver road game by a 39-29 score.

The Mohawks outscored Hesperia (0-3, 0-3 CSAA Silver) 18-4 in the pivotal third quarter, erasing a slim Panthers' lead.

"We played well in the first half," Hesperia coach Vince Grodus said. "We had a bad third quarter."

Emily Bayle led Hesperia with 16 points, six rebounds and four steals.
