PENTWATER — In front of a packed crowd Friday night, the Pentwater boys basketball team fell in a West Michigan D League thriller to Brethren, 52-51.

“That was a battle. It was a fun one,” said Pentwater head coach Ashley Wojtas despite the loss Friday night. “We had every opportunity to win though, tonight. Some missed free throws and untimely turnovers in the fourth cost us. I’m really proud of how both teams played though all night.”
