MONTAGUE – It’s official, the SummerSalt Festival and the Watermelon Roll are returning to Montague this June.
The Montague City Council took a vote to approve requests made by the event organizers on Monday, March 18. The city’s first vote was to allow for the closure of Dowling and Ferry Streets on Saturday, June 8, from 11-4 p.m. to be used for the festival and roll.
This will be the second year of the SummerSalt Festival, and last year event organizers closed off a section of Ferry Street to be used as a beer garden. The beer garden will also be making its return.
