Muskegon County deputy apprehends armed homicide suspect

Muskegon County Deputy David Paseka responded to the highway and determined the most likely intercept point. A few minutes later, observing a vehicle matching the description, Deputy Paseka caught up to the truck and effected a Felony Traffic Stop. The community should be proud of the great police work done, from the dispatchers relaying information, the law enforcement officers in Oceana County investigating the case, and specifically that of Deputy Paseka of the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Paseka placed himself in a position to intercept the vehicle and he apprehended a dangerous, armed homicide suspect; recovering the murder weapon in the process. These actions and the collaborative effort of each assisting agency, were a direct result of their ability to take this individual into custody so quickly and secure the safety of this community.
