Saturday, Oct. 9 is the official date for the 25th annual Pumpkinfest! This year's roll will be slightly different. In order to reduce mass gatherings there will be no individual heats, races, or categories; consider it a pumpkin free-for-roll! The freestyle roll will be taking place anytime from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Pumpkins will still be available to purchase, and folks of all ages can still go up the hill and roll their pumpkin. There will be no registration fee this year, just roll at your own risk please.

Pumpkinfest is a family-friendly day with many pumpkin-inspired events, contests, and features. There will be an arts and crafts fair with vendors selling a wide variety of items including holiday decorations, jewelry, clothing, photography, wood crafts, food dips, and more. There will also be food concessions, cider mill, artisan market, farmers market, bake sale, entertainment and more!

Making this event possible is their Pumpkinfest Committee and event sponsors including Consumers Energy as our Gold Sponsor, our Silver Sponsors: Boardwell Mechanical Services, Durga Insurance Group, Rant Insurance Group, and Scheid Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, and our Bronze Sponsors: Caliber Home Loans, MasterTag and Shelby State Bank. This 25th annual event is a community favorite where folks come from near and far to enjoy and take in the festivities.
